Dominic Amato was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana, and he graduated from Isidore Newman School in 1995. In 1999, he graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.A. in history and a B.S in recreation, parks and tourism. He attended Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law, where he graduated in 2002.
He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana. Dominic’s practice is primarily defense of workers’ compensation claims and coverage analysis related to workers’ compensation claims.
He has also developed relationships with the Louisiana Second Injury Fund and assists clients in appealing and obtaining acceptance of claims by the Louisiana Second Injury Fund Board.
